Savor the Spice: Delicious Fish Fillet Recipe
This spicy fish fillet recipe features marinated grass carp fillets cooked in a savory broth with bean paste, soy sauce, and rice wine. It's a flavorful and vibrant dish perfect for any meal. The fillets are served over blanched mushrooms and spinach and topped with chili powder and hot oil.
Ingredients:
• Grass carp fillet (as needed)
• Mushrooms and vegetables (as needed)
• 1 tablespoon of bean paste
• 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon of rice wine
• A pinch of sugar
• Chopped green onions (as needed)
• Green and red chili powder (as needed)
Instructions:
1. Marinate the fish fillet with white pepper, salt, cooking wine, and starch for 30 minutes.
2. In a stewing pot, bring water to a boil and add a pinch of salt. Add the mushroom slices (or other mushrooms) and cook for 2 minutes before removing.
3. Blanch the spinach (or other vegetables) in the boiling water for 1 minute, then remove and set aside.
4. Spread the blanched spinach on the bottom of a serving bowl.
5. Heat some oil in a wok, then add the bean paste and stir-fry over low heat.
6. Next, add the rice wine along with ginger and garlic.
7. Pour in one bowl of water, add soy sauce, a pinch of salt, and a little sugar. Bring to a boil.
8. Carefully add the marinated fish fillets to the pot.
9. Gently push the fish fillets in the pot and turn off the heat once all fillets change color.
10. Pour the fish fillets and the broth over the vegetables in the serving bowl.
11. Sprinkle chili powder, green and red pepper powder, and chopped green onions on top, adjusting according to your taste.
12. Heat a few tablespoons of hot oil and pour it over the fish and vegetables to enhance the flavors.
13. Serve immediately and enjoy your tender fish fillets!
