Homemade Mushroom Hot Pot with Flavorful Broth
This delicious hot pot features shiitake, crab, pearl, enoki mushrooms, dried shrimp, tomatoes, and aromatic herbs. After soaking, the ingredients are boiled and simmered with water, salt, and chicken essence until cooked. Enjoy this comforting and flavorful dish!
Ingredients:
• 3 shiitake mushrooms
• A handful each of crab mushrooms, pearl mushrooms, and enoki mushrooms
• A small handful of dried shrimp
• 2 scallions
• 4 cloves of garlic
• 3 slices of ginger
• 4 red dates
• 1 tomato
• 10 wolfberries
• 4 teaspoons of salt
• A pinch of chicken essence
Steps:
1. Prepare the ingredients by washing the mushrooms, red dates, wolfberries, and dried shrimp. Soak them in water for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, slice the ginger, chop the scallions, and break the garlic cloves.
2. Place all ingredients in an electric warmer, cover with water, and add 4 teaspoons of salt. Boil on high heat, then simmer on medium heat until the tomatoes and mushrooms are cooked. Add 2 teaspoons of chicken essence and adjust seasoning with more salt if necessary.
3. Once ready, enjoy your hot pot!
