These air-fried chicken wings are a delicious and easy treat! Score the wings and marinate them in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and spices for flavor. Ingredients:
• Chicken wings
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
• 1 tablespoon cooking wine
• 1 tablespoon zero-calorie sugar
• 1/2 tablespoon chicken essence
• 1/2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
• 1/2 tablespoon chili powder
• Lemon slices
Instructions:
1. Score the chicken wings on both sides.
2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cooking wine, and zero-calorie sugar.
3. Add chicken essence, dark soy sauce, and chili powder. Marinate the wings for a few hours or overnight.
4. Place lemon slices in the air fryer basket, then arrange the marinated wings on top.
5. Set the air fryer to 170°C (340°F) for 12 minutes, then flip the wings.
6. Continue cooking at 150°C (302°F) for another 5 minutes.
Tips:
1. Marinate for Flavor:
Allow the chicken wings to marinate for at least a few hours, or ideally overnight, to soak up all those delicious flavors!
2. Score the Wings:
Scoring the wings helps the marinade penetrate better and allows for even cooking.
3. Don’t Overcrowd:
Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket. This ensures that the wings cook evenly and get nice and crispy!
4. Flip for Crispiness:
Remember to flip the wings halfway through cooking for an even crisp on both sides.
5. Adjust Time for Crispiness:
If you like extra crispy wings, feel free to add a couple of extra minutes to the cooking time at the lower temperature.
